ACCESSIBILITY AT GATEKEEPERQA
Accessibility statement
Last updated October 1, 2026
We aim to make GatekeeperQA usable by people with different access needs and input methods. We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a target for improvement. This statement describes our current evidence and limitations; it is not a claim of full conformance, certification or an independent audit.
What this statement covers
The public website at gatekeeperqa.com and the scanner and saved-report account interface at scan.gatekeeperqa.com. Google sign-in, email services and other third-party interfaces are operated by their respective providers.
Checks recorded so far
The following are scoped, owner-reported manual checks recorded on September 28, 2026. They do not establish that every page, browser, assistive technology or subsequent change passes.
- Homepage and interactive sample: five prescribed Narrator checks reported as passed.
- Public sample PDF: reading order, finding details, page transitions and link navigation with Narrator in Microsoft Edge reported as passed. This does not cover every generated PDF or establish PDF/UA conformance.
- Homepage: actual 200% and 400% browser zoom in Edge reported as passed for layout, scan controls, reflow and visible keyboard focus.
- Homepage and interactive sample: prescribed mobile interactions reported as working; the device and browser were not recorded for that session. iPhone video fullscreen was separately confirmed.
Current testing limitations
- Detailed screen-reader checks across the production scanner and account journeys remain open.
- Broader physical-device and assistive-technology coverage remains open, including actual dwell-click and on-screen keyboard testing.
- The new Accessibility progress interface needs additional user-assisted screen-reader and zoom verification.
- Generated PDFs need further reading-order and accessibility validation across report layouts.
We record verified barriers and work on fixes as they are identified. An automated scan with no detected findings does not replace manual testing or testing with disabled users.
Our approach
We combine automated checks with keyboard, focus, screen-reader, pointer and zoom review. We keep automated findings separate from reviewer observations and retest evidence. Our manual-review guidance explains how to record the input method, settings, page state and outcome.
Report a barrier
Email support@gatekeeperqa.com with the page URL, what you were trying to do, what happened, and the browser or assistive technology used if you wish. Tell us if you need information in another format. Please do not include passwords, sign-in codes or sensitive report contents. We will review the report and follow up; we do not promise a fixed response time.
Updates
We will revise this statement when new checks, verified limitations or fixes materially change the information above.
